Quilt piece return deadline extended!

Were you unable to return your quilt piece to the school? Don't worry, the deadline has been extended to the end of this week!  If your student has completed their quilt piece, please return it to the school vestibule during school hours.  The drop box will be in the vestibule through this Friday, March 5th. If you have any questions or have a quilt piece but are unable to return it to the school in time, please email vpoutreach@clermontpta.org. 

Sixth Graders! Send your baby pictures for the yearbook

Every year the yearbook highlights our amazing 6th-grade kids by dedicating a special section where we get to showcase their baby smiles and future dreams. Here is how to submit your child's photo and information.

1. Send an email to pollyjo28@gmail.com (PJ Garcia – stepmom of Sebastian Garcia (6thgrade)) containing
2. Child’s name (and nickname if they go by a nickname)
3. Homeroom teacher
4. What your child wants to be when they grow up
5. Upload your baby photo with child's first and last name to this private dropbox where only Lisa Czop (head of PTA VP Enrichment) along with four members of the yearbook staff will have direct access. For privacy purposes, this dropbox is not open to the general public.

*In order to label your photo, it must be uploaded via computer and not your phone.

Photos and information are due by March 12th!

Didn't make it to picture day? You can send your own picture for the yearbook!

We understand that some students were unable to attend Picture Day to capture their school portrait.  We still would like all students represented in the Yearbook, and as such, will be collecting photographs from parents.  If you'd still like your student to be included on the portrait page of their class, please upload a photo, sized 4x6 portrait size, to https://bit.ly/CESYearbook. 

Please make sure that the photo file name includes your student's first/last name and their teacher's name.  If you have previously sent in an individual photo but did not include the student and teacher's name and/or did not size the photograph, please resubmit to the website.   

Please note that by sending the photograph in for consideration, you are granting permission to the PTA to publish the photograph in the Clermont yearbook and in other PTA correspondence.

Calling all artists—yearbook art contest!

Calling all student artists!  We are looking for some student's artistic interpretation of our Virtually Unstoppable theme to use in our yearbook!  While we will not be able to use the images for the cover, we will include the top-selected submission from each grade level as pages included in the yearbook.  Here is how you submit your piece of art for consideration:

1. Create a piece of art that embodies "Virtually Unstoppable" 
2. Take a photo OR scan the piece of art and email it to vpoutreach@clermontpta.org.  Please be sure to include your student's first/last name and their teacher's name in the email submission.  Please ensure all submissions are sent in by 5:00PM on Friday, March 12th. 
3. The submissions will be considered and judged by the art teachers from Clermont Elementary.
4. A winner from each grade level will be announced, included in PTA Happenings, and included in the Yearbook!
