The P.T.A. is asking Clermont parents to take the virtual parents C.A.R.E. pledge! With most students still in a virtual setting, we hope that parents and teachers are able to continue to work together in the best way possible for our students. Stay tuned after winter break for more ways that parents can get involved and show they C.A.R.E.!
- Collaborate – Virtual parents collaborate with their fellow parents and with their teachers to keep students excited about learning. This happens through parental participation in classroom activities and through regular two-way communication to teachers and parents.
- Assist– Virtual parents assist their teachers by setting their child up for success. By teaching and enforcing digital etiquette with their children, all classroom students will get the most effective learning environment to succeed.
- Respect– Virtual parents respect that the virtual classroom is led by the teacher independently. Parents should refrain from communicating during the school day with the teachers over the virtual chat. This cooperation will enable teachers to lead their classrooms in the most effective manner.
- Engage – Virtual Parents are active participants in their child’s learning. Whether that be volunteering to monitor lunch or simply ensuring their students have all the needed supplies in their virtual learning space, all parents can engage
